I don't know who took this photo or when, but it shows a chain made up of several links. It represents the phrase "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link". I like this image because it invites us to be people who care about all areas of their lives. We should strive to be complete, balanced and harmonious people who understand the importance of every aspect that makes us human beings. Facing our weaknesses is a challenge, as we often focus on highlighting our strengths while ignoring our deficiencies. It is difficult because society teaches us to obsess about things like having a fit body, work productivity, social recognition or academic performance. However, I believe that peace and happiness are found when these obsessions do not prevent us from enjoying other aspects of life, such as spending time with family and friends, thinking alone or walking the dog.
